This comfortable and stylish holiday home sleeps up to 6 guests and is perfectly located in the village of Chideock, in popular West Dorset. The house is perfect for families or friends with three good-sized bedrooms (two twin rooms and one double) offering a relaxed base from which to explore the stunning Jurassic Coast and surrounding countryside. Take a look inside the Friary.

The Friary has been stylishly decorated with wooden flooring throughout and vibrant complimenting touches. The holiday home is in a great position away from the main road behind the Clock Inn so traffic noise is minimal.

Seatown Beach is within easy walking distance, as are two other excellent local pubs, making it easy to enjoy days by the sea and leisurely evenings out without getting in the car. The nearby South West Coast Path offers spectacular coastal walks right from the village, with breathtaking views along the cliffs.

					We had a wonderful stay at the Friary. Heather, our co-host was really helpful and responded quickly.  It was the perfect holiday house - everything you could possibly need. All the information needed to make the stay a success was provided in a file. On arrival, after a long journey we were provided with tea, biscuits and milk. These were much appreciated! Thank you. 					We absolutely loved the house and felt so welcomed and at home as soon as we arrived. Lots of local recommendations in the check-in folder and the house was the perfect distance from the beach. We'd recommend driving if you have a pram, as it can be a bit tight at times. The house was spotless and well maintained. We were provided with a cot, baby gate and fans! 					Stayed during the heat wave, thankfully the beautiful beach of Seatown is a gentle 10-15 min stroll away and offers a fabulous pebble beach and clear water to swim in. The property has a very spacious, well equipped kitchen and decent bbq, a great space to prepare and enjoy good food. Vicky was very helpful and arranged for new fans to be delivered, helping us stay cool.As described, the property is just behind the pub so there can be some noise from the pub garden and the road through the village is surprisingly busy. But it’s a great base to explore the local towns and beaches, with picturesque coastal walks on your doorstep. Worth visiting Felicity’s farm shop nearby for cream tea and other local produce.  - 16/07/26
